I was born in Olongapo City, Philippines in May 1974 and I immigrated to the United States when I was fourteen years old. I have two sisters and one brother, all of whom are married with children.
My parents are currently residing in Moreno Valley, California and I try to visit them as
my schedule allows. I received my degree in Biology from UC Irvine in September 1997,
after which I joined the work force as a research associate, starting in Orange County and
eventually ending here in San Diego. A re-conversion experience in late 2006 opened my
eyes to God's mercy and love, which eventually led me to the program of priestly formation for the
diocese of San Diego. Prior to entering the program, much of my newfound life was nourished at Good
Shepherd Parish in Mira Mesa, wherein I was active as a minister of the Word, an altar server, a member of
the charismatic prayer group, an RCIA sponsor, and a catechist.
