I was born in the Philippines and attended Ateneo de Manila, a Jesuit school until 9th grade. In 1988, my family immigrated to the United States, settling in San Diego. I graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1991 and went on to earn a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration at University of California in Riverside in 1995. Upon graduation, I started my career in Information Technology, working primarily in the defense industry. Since 2003, I have been active in lay ministry as a Youth Ministry Coordinator, Young Adult Leader, Extraordinary Eucharist Minister and Minister of the Word. In 2007, I was accepted to the Program of Priestly Formation for the Diocese of San Diego and started taking Philosophy courses at University of San Diego in the Fall.
