I was born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico where I also finished my studies as a dentist. In 2001, my family and I moved to Calexico, California, but a year
after we had moved, I decided to enter the seminary back in Mexicali. After a year in the seminary, I decided to discern my vocation outside the seminary.
I returned to Calexico and began working as a dental assistant. In May of this year, I entered the program for priestly formation for the Diocese of San Diego.
Although I have most of my philosophy requirements, I still need to work on my English skills in order to advance to theology studies. I am happy to be
part of the priestly formation program.
